Lesson 1: Introduction to Quicken Deluxe 2010

Lesson 2: Creating Financial Accounts

Lesson 3: Set Up Categories
In the last lesson, we briefly talked about categories. We learned that categories help you track the source of a deposit or withdrawal. In this lesson, we're going to learn how to use categories.
Lesson 4: Using Account Registers
Part of keeping up with your finances using Quicken is entering checks that you write and deposits that you make.
Lesson 5: Entering Data
When you transfer money between accounts, Quicken records the transaction in the account you transferred money from as well as the account you transfer money to.
Lesson 6: Writing and Printing Checks
Did you know that you can also use Quicken to write and print checks?
Lesson 7: Connecting Quicken to Online Banking and Bill Payment
Although you don't need it to use Quicken as just a way to track finances, you do have to have it if you want to use Quicken for online banking and to pay bills online.

When you balance a checking, savings, or credit card account, you compare the balance in your Quicken register with your account statement.
