Course Description

Windows Live Mail is a free email program from Microsoft.  It comes with the free Windows Live Essential products, including Windows Live Messenger.   If you used to use Outlook Express on Windows XP or Windows Mail on Vista, Windows Live Mail is the successor.  Windows Live Mail is the fourth version of the program to be released.   The new features make it perfect for the home user, but also make it an excellent choice for small businesses that are looking for the features without the cost.

This course was created to introduce you to Windows Live Mail and acquaint current users with the new interface.   Because it's a free program, the help you'll find on the Internet is scarce.   That makes this course even more important because it teaches you every aspect of the program you need to know.   When you finish this course, you'll be able to use Windows Live Mail  on an expert level.   This means that you'll be able to use it to organize your emails – and your life – using its many features.

You'll learn how to:

Ø  Compose and format emails.

Ø  Send and receive emails.

Ø  Send photos and attachments.

Ø  Create and send photo albums.

Ø  Add emoticons to emails.

Ø  Use the calendar to create events and reminders.

Ø  Add, import, and export contacts.

Ø  Create a signature.

Ø  Subscribe to news feeds and newsgroups

Ø  And  much, much more.

So many free programs give you a stripped-down, raw version of paid software.  That's not the case with Windows Live Mail.   If you've used it before or are just now learning about the program, this in-depth course will teach you everything you need to know to start using it like a pro.
