Course Description

If you're looking for a basic grammar online course that's not only interactive but fun, this is the course for you. Whether you're a student or simply an adult interested in improving your grammar skills, ABCs of Grammar will give you the bare bones of grammar without the lengthy explanations of many grammar courses. Plus the examples of modeled grammar use cartoons, jokes, and stories to keep your interest. This intensive online course in the basics of English grammar is perfect for GED preparation, intermediate-level ESL students, and anyone who wants to improve their speaking and writing. You'll learn parts of speech, sentence structure, sentence construction, and punctuation with plenty of links to online grammar practice. The final lesson will teach you how to be your own grammar coach so that you can continue to improve your grammar skills once the course is over.
ABCs of Grammar will explain why grammar rules are important. Students will learn to recognize and use good sentence construction, identify the parts of speech, determine good sentence structure and use correct punctuation in written work. But best of all, students can become their own grammar coach through the process of self-editing.
