Course Description

Aquariums are a good alternative to keeping other house pets particularly in small spaces or those that restrict conventional pets. There are many things to consider when setting up an aquarium for the first time. One must consider the amount of time and money that will be spent on fish, their care, equipment and supplies. The type of fish is also a factor as saltwater fish and freshwater fish are quite different in price, temperament and the level of care required. However, maintaining an aquarium takes less time and money than a traditional house pet and can bring many hours of education and pleasure to the entire family.

This course relies on experienced aquarists who give their advice on the proper way to start and maintain a healthy aquarium sure to bring years of enjoyment to its owners and their families.
