Course Description

This comprehensive course on business research methods covers all the important methodologies and tools you need to know in order to conduct thorough research for any company on any topic. This course has two purposes:

1.    To introduce business research comprehensively so that you can apply it in your workplace

2.    To improve technical research skills in accordance with specific methodologies and tools

Research refers to a process of systematic inquiry in which data is collected, documented, analyzed, and interpreted. A number of disciplines and industries utilize research, including corporate and non-profit companies. This course will provide an in-depth guide to the research process, from pitching your research question to reporting your findings. Students who enroll in this course will work through fifteen comprehensive topics, and each lesson will define the specific topic, explain its significance in relation to business research, and will provide guidelines and strategies for you to implement in your own research project.
