Course Description
This course is an AutoCAD tutorial and will teach you the basic commands most commonly used to control AutoCAD. It will not be an exhaustive dissection of all the commands and features of AutoCAD, it is simply an introduction.
Are you ready to enter into the exciting world of professional CAD drafting? Then you have hit the right beach.
This course will teach you how to become familiar with the number one CAD program in the world today. If you're serious about success, it won't take you long before you're able to create, edit and produce professional design drawings in virtually any industry you can imagine, from aerospace to mechanical engineering, to x-ray technology.
This first course will expose all the various aspects of drafting with AutoCAD, from the blank screen to the finished plot. Don't wait any longer, put the power of knowledge on your side starting today. Continue on with the series to become more marketable, or step back and gain valuable hands on experience first, the choice is yours.
PREREQUISITE - You must have basic computer skills to enroll in this class and a math background is helpful. If you are uncomfortable with basic PC skills, including file management, I encourage you to take some PC training before enrolling in this class. Request more info and explain your situation if you have any concerns. (I don't want to turn people away, but I am committed to give personal attention to each of my students, and my time is very important to the quality of the instruction given)

This course offers 1.0 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this
online course with or without CEU documentation. An online and hard-copy Certificate of Course Completion displaying your coursework and
CEUs earned is included with the CEU Option. We also offer an expedited Transcript Service for sending your accomplishments to a third party.
I am offering a Certificate of Merit to each student passing this class. Since I consider this a college level course, I won't be offering Attendance or Participation certificates, as these are expected from all students. (I also don't like the one for Outstanding Achievement for some reason, I think it sounds redundant or something) I'm a pretty conservative teacher and I believe we're still in a period of 'grade inflation.'
Basically that means that most students and parents (and sometimes even teachers) expect A's and B's from teachers. Well, a C grade is for AVERAGE performance. A C grade is not a bad grade, it's supposed to be average. (okay, I'll save the lecutre for class) You're excused now.
Certificates awarded by the instructor will vary and are based upon student merit.
Any awards you earn are considered unofficial (or temporary) unless you decide to make the award official.
To make an award official, there is a $30.00 processing fee that covers the customization, printing, and shipping of a hard copy of the certificate as well as access to the UniversalClass™ Transcript Service.
Official awards include a serial number that verifies the authenticity of the award you earned for a lifetime (great for employers
to verify your achievement).
