Universal Class welcomes you to our course on Russian Culture and Behavior. While this course is focused mainly on business travelers or those interested in doing business in Russia, the content found within this course is nevertheless valuable to casual visitors and sight-seeing vacationers as well. Throughout this course, we'll provide information and the process you need to follow when planning your travels to and throughout Russia, as well as what to expect when you land.

Throughout the course, we'll also explore various myths and rumors that persist about Russia and the Russian culture today, offer a broad summary of her history, and a glimpse into the structure of their daily and family life. While in Russia, it's important to understand what they expect in regard to social and business manners, and we'll explore that topic, too. Russia is a land of tradition, and as such, we'll explore some of her more beloved traditions and mysterious superstitions. We'll offer you a glimpse into invigorating and surprising Russian cuisine as well as perfect ways to entertain yourself, your traveling companions or your family while in Russia.

Russia is a land of great cities and awesome architecture. We'll take students on a brief tour of her major cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg. To complete the course, we'll provide a brief overview of the former U.S.S.R., its history since the Second World War, including the Cold War, and modern Russia politics and its multiparty system. Finally, we'll conclude with a profile of what you can expect from today's Russia, as well as her land and her people.
