We will study  
  • systems of equations,
  • rational expressions and equations,
  • quadratic equations and functions,
  • sequences and series,
  • exponential and logarithmic functions, and
  • conic sections in this course. 
 
This is the second semester to Algebra 2 or Intermediate College Algebra 1(part 2). 

This class requires the purchase of a required textbook.  The price on the internet should be $20 to $35 (including shipping).  See   for the book information. You must have completed the Algebra 2 (first semester) or Algebra 1B to enroll in this class. 

The instructor, Susan Johnsey, provides a free placement test service at her web site.  If you are a high school student that needs to review or move ahead in math then please consider my classes.    If you are planning to attend college and need to review your algebra then consider my online classes.
