One of the goals for taking this course will be to learn the human anatomy-inside and out. Students will first learn in layman terms, then increase learning to know the medical terminology. All reading materials will be given in the lessons, links, games, movies, and quizzes. The lessons include all materials needed and cover the following list of topics: Body Parts, Spine, Ribs, Skull, Arms-Hands, Hips and Legs, Foot, Skin, Joints, The Systems, Skeleton System, Muscular System, Nervous System and Brain, Digestive System, Respiratory System, Circulatory System, Blood and Immune System, Lymphatic System, Endocrine System, Excretory System, Reproductive System followed by a final test.
Some teachers like to take a lesson a day, some may do three per week. Regardless, you will be given lessons to read with an assignment for each. There will be links to movies, printouts to complete, and quizzes to take. These will all contain information necessary to learn the skills required. You must also have each answer spelled correctly, as that is a part of learning your anatomy. The certificate of Merit will be issued for each quiz taken where you earned a 85% or better. Outstanding Achievement will be awarded to those who earn the grade of 95% or better on the tests.
