  2. The Molecules of Cells - Discusses the molecules of cells, including the atom, molecular reactions, the properties of water, and organic molecules.
  3. Cell Structure and Function - Discusses the cellular level of organization,eukaryotic cells,prokaryotic cells, and evolution of the eukaryotic cell.
  4. Membrane Structure - Discusses the structure of the membrane of a cell, and how interactions of the outside environment intereact with the cell.
  5. Cell Division - Discusses cell division, mitosis and meiosis. Reducing chromosomes and the Human Life cycle is examined.
  6. Gene Inheritance and Chromosome Inheritance - The inheritance of genes, Mendal's law, and gene disorders are discussed. Also the heritance of linked genes and chromosomes are discussed.
  7. Photosynthesis - Photosynthesis, along with the processes that make up this energy-to- food mechanism are discussed. Radiant energy, structure and function of chloroplasts, and solar energy capture are discussed as well.
