Course Description

Imagine walking out of college without owing a penny in student loans! Yes, you really can get college scholarships, and many students every year just like yourself get them.  It is a myth that scholarships are only given to those with 3.8-4.0 GPA's.  That is simply not true; and in-fact, many applicants with very minimal GPA's apply for and receive thousands of dollars in scholarships by applying what you will learn in this course.  This course discusses what scholarships are, directs you to the best resources for finding thousands of scholarships, reveals how to appeal to scholarship committees, shows you how to complete the scholarship application, outlines vital verifications and criteria you will need that must accompany your application, shows you samples upon samples of what scholarships look like, it baby-steps you through writing an award-worthy scholarship essay and shows you actual samples of essays that have won scholarships.  Finally, you walk through the process from research to tucking your application into the mail, to ensure you are clear on how to put your best foot forward and walk the path others have in winning their scholarships.  This course consists of six lessons, assignments, netlinks, and quizzes to ensure you have understood the material.  By the time you completed this course, you will know how to find and apply for scholarships, as well as how to write a personalized essay.  Your instructor is a college instructor who teaches scholarship essay writing and who has been successful in coaching students in obtaining a number of various scholarships over the years.
