This family safety course focuses on common household safety issues. As May is Bicycle Safety Month and summer is outdoor adventure time, we are focused on making it a safe summer. We want our families to be as safe as we can prepare them for, so we have included lessons on Automobile Safety, Child Care, Sports, Fire Safety, Bicycle/Scooter Safety, Health, Home Safety, Home and Garden Maintenance and Repairs, Internet Safety, Sun Safety, Swimming and Pool Safety and more! The main goal of the course is to learn safety precautionary methods for work and play, that will keep yourself and your loved ones, safe! Enroll today! This is a self-paced, online course. You have 6 months to finish. An instructor will monitor your progress and assess your body of work at course completion. Instructor Jill Manzoni's college degrees and higher education certificates are in Health, Environments, Child Development, Psychology, Social Sciences, Theology, and Art. She is currently teaching several courses for UC including gardening courses and unit study courses for teachers and children.

This course offers 1.0 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this online course with or without CEU documentation. An online and hard-copy Certificate of Course Completion displaying your coursework and CEUs earned is included with the CEU Option.
