This course is set up to be completed in your own time frame but it is best if you complete one lesson every 1-2 weeks. A optional enrichment lesson is included about the history of hospitals.

This lesson traces the formation of the American hospital from colonial times through the early 1900s. This history is reflected in the healthcare system that we have today.
