Lesson 1 - Reviewing the Basics
This lesson will serve as a recap of the course "Eleven Key Principals For Good Health". We use that course as a foundation for this class, Healing The Natural Way. We will briefly touch on each of the eleven principals to prepare us for this class.
Lesson 2 - The Importance of Diet for Good Health
What are the food groups and why are they important? Learn about Super Foods and how they can be of help. Discover why the color of fruit and vegetables can tell us what to consume for healing.
Lesson 3 - Herb Debate
Take a look at why herbs may play a part in healing naturally. Examine some of the common herbs that may assist in general health.
Lesson 4 - The Alkaline Diet and Detoxification
There has been a lot of talk about the alkaline diet lately. This lesson will give you the basics on how to alkaline your body. We will also look at the benefits of detoxification of the body through herbs and teas.
Lesson 5 - Get Yourself Moving
Take a look at the three main areas of focus for exercise: Aerobic, Strength Training and Flexibility. Each type of exercise has a specific function for your overall health. Also, learn how to set up a walking program that is right for you.
Lesson 6 - Professionals Who Can Help
