Your computer locks up and/or is acting weird? The keyboard or mouse doesn't work? The computer displays a disk error or non-system disk message? If you have ever faced these types of day-to-day computer dilemmas then this course is for you. This course covers the basic concepts of troubleshooting, solving common computer errors and upgrading computer systems.
This class is designed to give you certain tools to use when you encounter problems with a computer at school, home or at work. It is designed to provide you with some basic troubleshooting skills, knowledge of resources that are available on the internet and confidence in your ability to work with computer software as well as hardware-related problems. When you leave this class you should be able to solve simple computer problems yourself, and communicate effectively with a technician if you ever need to! Also, besides the textual/theoretical explaination covered in this course, we will also focus extensively on hands on troubleshooting exercises. In addition to that, all participants would be able to discuss their computer problems and their possible resolutions/technical support through email/chat board during and until the completion of the course. All in all, I guarantee you that the level of personal support and commitment I provide to all my students is exceptional.
My main focus group for this course are computer beginners, teenagers, stay-at-home moms, the elderly or anyone who has problems dealing with computer issues and always gets a hard time finding help. You don't have to bang every door or spend your hard-earned bucks anymore for every little computer mishap because after this course you might just solve those problems yourself! I have this policy that a student is forever, so even after you are finished with this course, you can keep in touch with me and I'll be willing to help you out in any way possible!
