Mail Merge with Word Mail merge is a feature of Word that will allow you to create original letters and other documents, including mailing labels and directories for a specific group of people, places or things.  The concept of mail merge is the merging of a database file containing names, addresses, phone numbers, birth dates, and other constant data into a document or form (letter for example) to produce a third document.  This third document is called the merged document, resulting from the merging of the database to the document or form.  You will learn how to create a database containing records.  Your sample database could be all of your family and friends.
