Basic Course: $20.00

This is a course on various methods and techniques of adding breathing exercises to your daily health and fitness routines. The importance of proper breathing can be found in measurable health benefits such as reduced stress levels in the body, reduced high blood pressure, reduction in muscle spasms in the body, and even a reduction of pain in the body that is caused by holding your breath reducing oxygen to areas of your body in need of it. As westerners we all tend to take small short breaths into our chest. Do you chest breathe? Here is a simple test to find out. Stand in front of a mirror looking at yourself. Now take a few regular breaths. Did you notice one or both of your shoulder rises with the inhalation of the breath? If you did then you are chest breathing and starving your body. Our bodies, right down to the very cells, needs oxygen to survive and grow. When we limit the amount of oxygen we bring into our body, then we have put our vital organs and tissues "on a diet", starving them of the nutrients they need to flourish. Through this course you will be shown a variety of styles of breathing techniques that will help you to bring in more vital oxygen to feed your body and bring about health and well being. Enroll today! This is a self-paced, online course. You have 6 months to finish. An instructor will monitor your progress and assess your body of work at course completion. UniversalClass™ offers many wonderful learning tools to help you get the most out of your online course, including an online portfolio service that manages all your course completions.
