GED Preparation for the Science Exam will focus on the skills and the updates implemented on the GED exam. The science section of the GED will focus on broad concepts and principles, rather than on your ability to recall exact details and isolated facts. In order to succeed on the GED exam overall you have to be able to read, compute, interpret information, and express yourself in writing on a level comparable to that of 60 percent of graduating high school seniors.
This course will cover basic skills needed in successfully completing the Science section of the GED exam. This will cover: - how to read and successfully answer science related question, - the basics of interpreting science related diagrams and tables - guides and links of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Space and Earth Sciences.
Course Description
This online course will prepare you to take the Science portion of the GED (General Educational Development) test. The testing format will be explained and broken down to highlight the content this part of the exam will cover. This course will provide many resources from strategies, practice tests, practical assignments and researched netlinks attached to many test topics to be read at your own leisure. This course will analyze how to read material, the basics of interpreting tables, as well as guides and links to outlines in Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences, and Physics.
