Course Description

Stress is an unavoidable aspect of the 21st century. It lurks in the office cubicle, in the homes of working parents, and in college dorm rooms. People under constant stress can develop headaches, stomach distress, sleep problems, and weakened immune systems. Some people overeat, drink or smoke under stress, putting them at additional risk for medical problems.

Ideally, we'd all be able to eliminate the things in our lives that cause stress. Unfortunately, this isn't always feasible. However, we all can learn some simple techniques to help us cope with the stress that we can't avoid. This course discusses easy, inexpensive methods for coping with daily stress at work or at home.
