A New Era of Brotherhood and Peace - Many people believe we are entering the Age of Aquarius - the era of brotherhood of peace. The course starts by examining this concept, and looks at the evolution process from the previous age of Pisces (Christianity) to the New Age.
Holism - Holism is the study of persons and societies as totalities, not as individual entities. The universe is seen by most New Age adherents as being one with God, in fact as being part of god. This lesson looks at these ideas.
Personal and Social Transformation - In New Age thought there is an evolution of consciousness to the "higher self". Rebirth into this new era is through this awakening or transformation. The idea that personal transformation leads to social tranformation is also discussed.
Earth and Its Place in the Universe - The Gaia hypothesis - that of mother or goddess earth is being discussed here. This entails discussing the earth's evolution through different astrological sectors, currently into the sphere of the Aquarian sector.
Man and His Place in the Universe - Man is said to be part of the divine. Therefore through meditation and other means man can find the god within when he enter there and get very close to the God within himself.
Transforming the Young - Teaching others to understand the principles of the new age should start young, it is believed. Therefore school syllabi should be remodeled to include values clarification, centering exercises, meditation, relaxation, fantasy plays,etc.
