Each of the lessons in this course is designed to familiarize you with the basics of indoor and outdoor gardening. As you progress through the different elements of gardening you will be able to successful grow your plants. There are several different levels of gardening covered in the course: the most basic, plus intermediate and advanced as well as specific gardening topics. This class also offers assistance with choosing the plants for your environment as well as starting, caring, and harvesting your products. This course is not only designed to teach the basic gardening elements but also to provide resource information for beginners. There are several different levels of gardening covered in the course: the most basic, plus intermediate and advanced as well as specific gardening topics.

This class also offers assistance with choosing the plants for your environment as well as starting, caring, and harvesting your products. You will learn the basics that are needed to start your journey with nature inside and outside your home plus the added bonus of how to preserve your products.

 

 


In Gardening Basics novice gardeners will learn the elements of different forms of gardening (indoor and outdoor). In addition to lessons on soil, seeds and plants and composting, students will study Container Gardening, Herbal Gardening, and Houseplants. The class ends with information on how to Harvest and Store and Preserve your products such as herbs and flower seeds.
This course offers 1.0 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this online course with or without CEU documentation. An online and hard-copy Certificate of Course Completion displaying your coursework and CEUs earned is included with the CEU Option. We also offer an expedited Transcript Service for sending your accomplishments to a third party.

  4. Herbal Gardening - The goal of this lesson is to learn the basics about growing herbs.
  5. Houseplants Basics - The goal of the following lesson is to learn about growing and caring for Houseplants.
  6. Harvest and Storage Basics - The goal of the sixth lesson is to Harvest and Storing of your products such as herbs, flower seeds, and other products.
