Course Lessons
Lesson One: What is Paganism?
Utilizing material from Chapter One of our text, this lesson gives some basic terms and concepts that students will need in order to understand our journey through Pagan, earth-centered religions.
Lesson Two: You Are What You Believe
While utilizing some material from both chapters one and two of our text, this lesson finishes a cursory introduction to the basic terms and philosophies behind Paganism.
Lesson Three: A Pagan View of Deity
This lesson discusses how human beings find religious or spiritual meaning.
Lesson Four: What about Satan?
Based on chapter four of our text, this lesson discusses historical development of "Satan" or "the Devil," as well as the concept of evil.
Lesson Five: The Living Universe
This lesson discusses how Pagans view their connection to the rest of the universe, and how this connection plays into what we call "magick."
Lesson Six: Magickal Theory and Practice
Magick as a concept which Pagans have developed due to the philosophy of interconnectedness.
Lesson Seven: Pagan Ethics
Explores Pagan ethics and encourages the student to take an "ethical snapshot" of her or himself.
Lesson Eight: Let the Circle be Open, yet Unbroken
A final session in which we bring our studies to a close and decide how to go forward with our new understanding of Paganism.
