Course Description
We have forgotten what the ancient Shamans once knew. They had a deep and profound connection with Self, Nature, and Spirit that was untainted by the distractions and technologies of our modern day world. They had to depend on their skill, and their knowledge of the animal, plant and mineral worlds around them in order to survive. They respected what the Earth had to offer and treated the other beings on this planet with honor for the gifts they provided. The Shamans understood that sickness was a misalignment with Self on a Spiritual level. In this time of higher consciousness raising on our planet we are starting to discover these old ways once again. This is a course that teaches you to walk this Earth walk with new eyes and new understanding. Course Requirements Before you begin the lessons, you will need the following materials:
1. A loose leaf binder and plenty of notepaper. Also, tabs to separate the notebook into sections.
2. Plenty of pens and pencils, and a set of colored pencils or markers.
3. A cassette player and some blank tapes.
Course Goals By the end of this class, you will have an understanding of how the Shamanism works, especially in terms of how it helps to develop and enhance you own individual Earth walk.
Grading Policy
The grading policy within this course is very flexible, as a lot of the assignments are essay type work to help you to define what you have learned to yourself.
This course is based more on the need to complete and fully understand each lesson before you go forward to the next.
You may retake an exam or a quiz to acquire a higher grade point.
Therefore, 100% of your total grade will be based on your completion of assignments, contributions to the forum, and a good working knowledge of the lessons learned as we go forward.
There is no reason that with dedication and some fine tuning everyone in this class cannot achieve an A average.
