In this lesson, we will learn the basics of human anatomy and physiology as it applies to massage therapy.

Lesson 3: Types of Massage

Though massage in general aims for the overall well being of the mind and body, massage therapy can be used to achieve specific purposes. This lesson discusses the types of massages that can be used for complete relaxation, to cure illness, and to heal.

Lesson 4: Methods of Massage--I

This lesson provides an overview of various methods of massages. In this lesson, you will learn about traditional Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Persian, Hawaiian, Thai, and Roman massage methods.

Lesson 5: Methods of Massage--II

In this lesson, we will unravel various types of massages, such as Barefoot Deep Tissue Massage, Deep Muscle Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Foot or Sole Massage,Soft Tissue Massage, and Scalp Massage.

Lesson 6: Methods of Massage--III

In this lesson, we will learn about a few methods of massage therapy.

Lesson 7: Methods of Massage--IV

In this lesson, we will learn about a few more methods of massage therapy, such as trigger massage, chair massage, fur massage, etc.

Lesson 8: Massage as Alternative Treatment--I

In this lesson, you will learn massage techniques that can be used as alternative treatments for arthritis and sleep disorders.
