Learn why stress affects you. Stress affects all of us on a day to day basis. How we deal with stress is an individual choice and is often left untreated. When stress builds in our lives, we tend to feel the physical and emotional affects. In this course we will learn why stress affects us, why fight or flight (the body's natural defense mechanism) occurs and the difference between acute and chronic stress. Learn what the treatments are, both traditional and non-traditional, who to see and what you can do for yourself. There are no pre-requisites for this class. Knowing that stress is a part of life, why not learn to be proactive, not reactive to life's challenges.
