Photography 201 offers advanced photographic instruction for those who understand the basics of photography and use of a 35mm camera.
It also offers solid business set-up information.
The tutorials in this course will guide you through putting together your professional portfolio, understanding and creating the profitable black and white glamour portraits, developing your own b/w and color prints, advanced lighting, commercial, press and digital photography and business start-up information.
This instruction also includes actual samples of studio flyer's, forms, and checklists that you can use in starting your own studio.
Student must complete five (5) portrait assignments in the following categories, and submit samples for review: (a) Black and White (b) Glamour (c) Child Photography (d) Family Photography (e) Commercial Photograph.
Online tests will be given to evaluate the students knowledge of the information in each section. The overall goal for this course is to help the student design his/her final portfolio of photographic samples, and to understand advanced photography techniques, developing his/her own prints in a home or day lab, and to have the materials and information needed to start an at-home or on-location portrait studio.
This course offers 1.0 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this
online course with or without CEU documentation. An online and hard-copy Certificate of Course Completion displaying your coursework and
