Have you ever wanted to become an advocate, or get into the field of social work? If you are a daycare worker: parent, or someone who has an interest in the welfare of children, this course would be beneficial. It is designed for people of all backgrounds: ages, cultures, and social status. It is useful for people to train in the area of child advocacy: outreach, childcare, and child safety. Children are at risk and are very vulnerable. This course is designed for people who wish to learn about all aspects of child protection: CHILD ABUSE, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SAFETY IN THE HOME, SAFETY IN SOCIETY, CHILD PORNOGRAPHY, THE LAW, RITUAL ABUSE, DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE, THE CYCLE OF ABUSE, REFERRALS, and RELIGION. Includes many parts from my child sexual abuse class! This course will also look into adequate housing: food, and clothing issues as they relate to children. Student posting will be used as a benefit for all enrolled in this program to ensure that all students can learn from other cultures: beliefs, social status, and communities. This course is made for students to  'work at your own speed': also the benefit having the instructor there when needed by each student, on a one to one basis.
