Solving Pesky Behavior Problems is designed to help those who work with children find ways to minimize troublesome behaviors, such as tattling, whining, bickering, and cursing. Participants will receive basic information about behavior management techniques and suggestions for changing children's behaviors. Here's a brief outline of the course: Lesson 1 is an introduction and an invitation to share your thoughts on pesky behavior problems. Lesson 2 reviews basic behavior management techniques. Lesson 3 focuses on positive behavior management, which is by far the most effective. Lesson 4 discusses how to handle the child who doesn't seem to respond to our usual behavior management techniques. Lesson 5 gives practical suggestions to deal with whining. Lesson 6 goes over the causes and cures for bickering. Lesson 7 covers swearing and cursing. Lesson 8 talks about tattling, where it comes from and how to minimize it. New lessons will be added as interest is expressed.
