Course Description This course is focusing on uses of the "scruffy" brush, along with other brushes. The scruffy brush designs are Joan's originals, some of which have been published in The Stroking Edge Magazine. The One Stroke decorative painting technique is sweeping the nation. In this course, you will be motivated, inspired, and enriched to learn this easy decorative painting. You will learn about brushes, paints, surfaces, guardian angels, scruffy cats, dogs, and bears, scruffy flowers, scruffy Santa, holiday tree, holly, and wreath, wiggle leaves, one stroke leaves, ferns, grass, foliage, fences, string bows, and flower shapes, as well as completed designs that you can use for many projects. You will also be given Joan's original cardstock pin construction, as well as other cutout uses. Cardstock is an excellent painting surface. Everyone loves to receive cards and hand-painted bags. You can decorate the memory pages to your scrapbook, as well as paint on the album cover and photo box. Painting surfaces are endless. This course will give you the tools, tutorials, and guidance to execute these painting strokes. Joan Waff, OSCI (One Stroke Certified Instructor), and certified by Donna Dewberry in June, 2002, will take you through step-by-step all the different elements of this course. Once you learn a few simple techniques, you will be ready to share your creativity with the world through gifts, bazaars, craft shops, craft shows, home decor, and organizations.
