Become a Horseback Riding Instructor for Children. Instructing students can be scarey, but also rewarding. Learning how to teach children or beginner adults how to safely ride horses is fun. Passing the knowledge you gain here onto your personal students will be rewarding as well. The goal of this course is to teach students the art of instructing others in horseback riding. Students will learn enough to offer classes to beginning riders, and can do so with little or no personal experience*. Lessons will cover basic riding instruction for both Western and English style, horse safety issues, equipment, lessons plans, riding ring requirements and information on setting up a small riding business. **This course will provide a helpful guide on HOW TO INSTRUCT only. How to ride and familiarity with horses will not be covered but is a necessary skill to possess before any instruction can occur.
This course offers 1.0 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this
online course with or without CEU documentation. An online and hard-copy Certificate of Course Completion displaying your coursework and
