Course Description
If you like scrapbooking, you'll love book art! This is a fun glue and paste class. I receive many emails from students telling me the fun they're having making their own books, journals and greeting cards. Most of the supplies are around you right now. We'll work with cardboard cereal boxes and other recycled materials.
Bookmaking is a great stress reliever which you'll find yourself returning to again and again. The end product is your own creation - a way of giving yourself the gift of accomplishment.
During the course we will be crafting small handmade books using three fun and easy methods. I will also direct you to more sources if you would like to continue this is in the future. If you're like me, you'll be making small decorative books for gifts and for yourself every chance you get.
No previous art experience is necessary. You can do this easily -- if you promise not to run with scisssors. :)
