If you already train horses this series of exercises can be incorporated into any training method. You will learn to take an unhandled horse through all the steps in this course and turn them into gentle and willing partners.
The objectives of this course are to teach all students the history of the horse, communication with the your horse using a language your horse will understand, assessing the problem horse to come up with the best way to fix the problem, how to use the round pen in easy step by step exercises, how to get your horse to move his feet, how to become the alpha in your herd, and starting your horse under saddle.
*This is a hands on course and it is recommended that you have a horse or borrow a horse to work with. If you do not have a horse and you are looking to just study training concepts then this course will give you a better understanding of the round pen process since it is broken down in to simple format.Instructor Mary Johnson runs a Horse Rescue called Horse Spirit Rescue in Washington State so she's a natural to teach Taming Mustangs. The course will give exceptional insight and knowledge to the student on how to tame and train wild mustangs. Students will learn how the horse thinks and how to make a horses life easier through natural horsemanship and relationship training.
