Online Class: Geometry Class for High School (second semester)
Geometry Class for High School (second semester) is a continuation of my first semester geometry course.
The SECOND SEMESTER topics to be covered in this class:
SIMILAR POLYGONS
RIGHT TRIANGLES
CIRCLES
CONSTRUCTIONS
AREAS AND VOLUMES OF SOLIDS
COORDINATE and ANALYTICAL GEOMETRY
In the United States most State Boards of Education require completion of the first and second semesters of Geometry for graduation from a public or private high school. This is the second semester of Geometry.
This Geometry course (second semester) is taught by a class "A" state certified math teacher. The textbook required for the class is approved by most State Boards of Education.

Geometry Class for High School (second semester) is a continuation of my first semester geometry course. This course will present a good knowledge of Geometry which includes proving theorems, finding congruent polygons, calculating the areas and volumes of polygons and polyhedrons, solving for the parts of right triangles, finding the measurements of circles (arcs, sectors, chords, secants, tangents, central angles and inscribed angles), and understanding the use of algebra in analytical geometry.
In the United States most State Boards of Education require completion of the first and second semesters of Geometry for graduation from a public or private high school. This is the second semester of Geometry.
The student should desire a good knowledge of Geometry which will include proving theorems, finding congruent polygons, calculating the areas and volumes of polygons and polyhedrons, solving for the parts of right triangles, finding the measurements of circles (arcs, sectors, chords, secants, tangents, central angles and inscribed angles), and understanding the use of algebra in analytical geometry.
The class will prepare them for Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. The student should have already successfully completed Algebra 1 (both semesters) and Geometry (first semester). The student or parent should have good skills using a Word processor, email, internet links, and a basic PAINT program.
There is a required textbook. The price should be between $20 and $50, depending on the condition. The information for purchasing the book will be sent to the student after registering for the class.
This course offers 4.00 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this
online course with or without CEU documentation. An online and hard-copy Certificate of Course Completion displaying your coursework and
CEUs earned is included with the CEU Option. We also offer an expedited Transcript Service for sending your accomplishments to a third party.
