James Cummins

Course Developer James Cummins is a Canadian author and businessperson. In 2009 Cummins was awarded the Canadian Authors Association's BookTelevision Emerging Writer Award for his book Ambrosia: About a Culture. He began his professional writing career as a playwright in 2000 and has published books on Electronica music, legal history, business, spirituality, and philosophy. Cummins is a graduate of both the Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts and Concordia University.  
 

Nancy Fillip

Course Instructor

Nancy Fillip is a multifaceted educator with over 40 years of experience in teaching a diverse array of subjects, including music, arts and crafts, science, history, and math. Known for her innovative approach, she skillfully blends art and science into various educational curricula. After three decades in public education, Nancy now teaches at her home studio, the Fitchburg Art Museum, Fitchburg State College, and a private Arts and Creativity Center. She has studied art under the guidance of notable artists Mauricio Puente and Janet M. Young, and is also a distinguished alumna of Norwich University as its first female cadet graduate. Additionally, Nancy is an accomplished author, having published nine books and developed several e-courses, showcasing her vast expertise and passion for education and the arts.
