This self-paced history course will examine the ancient civilizations that dominated historical records between the time periods of 3000 B.C. to 1200 B.C. The class will focus on Ancient Egypt Civilization, Sumerian Civilization, the Indus Valley Civilization, Ancient China Civilization, and the Aegean Civilization. In this class, students will not only discover where and why these civilizations formed, but also explore the history, culture, daily life and the impact these ancient civilizations have on the cultures of today.

Lesson 5: Indus Valley Civilization
Why was this civilization known as the lost civilization? What was daily life like for this ancient civilization? What caused it to mysteriously disappear? Who were the Aryans? These facts and more will be covered in this lesson.
