This course covers basic essentials of both Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) and Mortgage Loan Processor (MLP) occupations, in a 10 lesson format. Lessons will cover: mortgage loan terminology, credit reports, URLA 1003, RESPA and public policies, the three phase loan process, types of mortgages, how to process a mortgage, and red flags to avoid. At the end of the course, you will take a practical exam.
Check with your state authorities regarding what, if any, state licensing or certification requirements there are for becoming a Mortgage Loan Officer. This course makes no claims as to meeting any specific program or state requirement(s).
This course offers 1.0 CEUs upon successful completion. You may take this
