Course Description
  
Scenic Scenes is a new exciting course for learning simple scenes, one step at a time! This course has 10 easy scenes that will have you painting fun designs, including landscapes, seascapes, seasonal scapes, beachscapes, and more!
You will be learning a forest, stone bridges, vases of flowers, girl at a beach, whimsical farm, and much more. Besides learning scenes, you will be learning simple color mixing. This gives you much more options for your paints!
Each scene has many different elements that you learn, like grass, water, sea oats, trees, riverbanks, bridges, floral shapes, spattering with a toothbrush, backgrounds, shadows, mountains, snow, sand dunes, distant sailboats, carrot people, and so much more.
Small canvas art is now the rage, and you can use any subject you learn and create your own canvases to market for profits, gifts, and sharing.
You can earn a potential income! You can market your paintings in online sites, gift shops, craft shows, and word-of-mouth!
Course Goals
The goals of this course is to get students painting their own scenes and to teach students that painting one step at a time will result in a finished canvas.
Students will be learning how to mix colors to produce other colors. This creates a truly unique scene, because of the various colors achieved by mixing.
The scenes are simple and easy to achieve and students will be able to practice each part of the scene before putting it on their canvas.
Course Materials
Course materials will include brushes, acrylic paints, paper towels, wax paper, PC copy paper or practice pad, brush basin or water jar, and canvas boards.

Surfaces
Canvas boards in any size you want. I used 7x9 and 10x14. All the designs can be painted on any sizes!
Grading Policy
The are no grades issued in this course. The quizzes are geared toward students reviewing the lesson and thought provoking ideas.
Disclaimer
The designs students paint are their own paintings, and will not be exactly like the lessons. There are no guarantees that students will paint exactly as the instructor, but they will be learning how to paint!
Course Requirements
There is no painting experience necessary to take this course. Students are taken step-by-step through the process of painting a scene.
