Course Description
This amazing course will take the novice horse enthusiast, and teach them step by step how to teach effective riding lessons to children. There is good money in providing this service and even non horse owners can learn how to capitalize on the market by leasing or borrowing horses. Students will learn correct safety procedure, how to find and keep students, and will be supplied a lesson plan for an eight week course. Also included in the course are handouts for the riders, waivers for liability, and general information necessary for hosting successful riding lessons. This is a one of a kind course and can only be found here. Students will have available to them full support as they set up their program and will be introduced to working with the differently abled, those with physical limitations. This is a great class, a great opportunity, and the continued support needed to be able to provide this wonderful service.
Course Requirements
Students are required to read all the text, complete the assignments and tests, and participate in communications either via email, forum, or livestream video chat.
Course Goals
The goals of this course is to teach students the art of instructing others in horseback riding. Students will learn enough to offer classes to beginning riders, and can do so with little or no personal experience.
Course Materials
All materials are within the text. There is no other reading required. Students can gain more insight and ask questions and gain support by attending a live video chat session posted in the text. Hours will be listed.
Grading Policy
Students must achieve at least a C grade to pass this course. Dealing with children is very challenging and rewarding. A C grade (average)means you understand the text and can move forward into the business.
90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
Students not achieving at least a C, should retake the course. Because this deals with working with youth, it is best to achieve a higher grade than to risk not being prepared.
