Course Description

Hand Massage
This course  will teach you about Massage and Reflexology therapy and how to perform these techniques. In sections focused on developing Massage techniques, students will learn the history of massage therapy, methods and types of massages, practice-oriented massage techniques, ethics of massage therapy, how to set up massage business, massage marketing tips,
  and much more. In sections focused on developing Reflexology techniques, students will learn ‘about', how it differs and compliments the practice of Massage, and become equipped with several methods and techniques that will allow you to put reflexology to work improving your overall health and well being, or practice.

    This course offers a learning platform for Massage and Reflexology therapy students and practitioners to develop and enhance skills in applying techniques, such as Hot Stone Massage, Foot Massage, Back Massage, Relaxing Hands and Arms Massage, Fur Massage, the ten different treatment patterns that are performed for full foot reflexology, 8 relaxation techniques used before each session, basics of full hand reflexology, as well as a deeper insight into the workings of the specific body systems and some of their common disorders, and more. If you are interested in  upgrading your massage skills,  or thinking of pursuing a career in reflexology or another medically related field that requires an understanding of anatomy and physiology, this course will exceed your expectation by making you an expert in this therapy.

    Course Requirements

    This course will not require you to have previous experience in any particular area but you should have a high school reading level. No books will be required.

    All course materials is provided in this class. There is no need to buy additional resources.

    Grading Policy

    Each lesson will include a written and practice assignment that will directly apply what you have learned.
    A brief 25 pt. quiz will follow each lesson. Students will successfully complete this course with 70% or better.
