Course Description
 Your self-esteem needs your attention, as the consequences of low self-esteem are often the precursor for many other health related problems. Avoid future personal health issues by evaluating your level of self-esteem today! This self-paced course will examine what self-esteem is, the development and factors effecting self-esteem, an examination of the consequences and symptoms of low self-esteem, the behaviors associated with the symptoms of low self-esteem, and methods to rebuild self-esteem and maintain a good level of self-esteem throughout life.
Anyone who is enduring the draining experience of low self-esteem, anyone who may know others suffering from low self-esteem, or anyone who is interested in maintaining a healthy and happy life in general, should enroll in this course today!
Course Requirements
This course will not require you to have previous experience in any particular area but you should have a high school reading level.
No books will be required in this course but participants will need a journal/ personal notebook to record assignments.
Course Goals
Participants in this course will achieve:
-A solid understanding of the important role self-esteem plays in our lives
-An awareness of the sources and consequences of low self-esteem
-Knowledge of how to recognize symptoms of low self-esteem and the results of these symptoms in others with low self-esteem
-Techniques and Activities the will rebuild low self-esteem
-Advice and tips on how to maintain healthy self-esteem

All course materials are provided in this class. There is no need to buy additional resources.
Grading Policy
Each lesson will include a written and practice assignment that will directly apply what you have learned.
A brief 25 pt. quiz will follow each lesson. Students will successfully complete this course with 70% or better.
