Course Description
This online course will prepare you to take the Mathematics portion of the GED (General Educational Development) test. The testing format will be explained and broken down to highlight the content this part of the exam will cover. This course will provide many resources from strategies, practice tests, attached to many "how to solve" test topics to be read at your own leisure.
Course Requirements
This course (like the GED) requires at least a ninth grade level of reading and basic Math understanding. This course will make use of the English Language, so it is highly recommended that you have a firm grasp and can communicate in this language. There are no requirements for completing this course. The course content will present a great deal of information and helpful resources- how you use this material is entirely up to you.

The course goal is to prepare you for passing the Math part of the GED test.

Grading Policy
This course will contain 25 quizzes and 6 practice tests. All quizzes and practice test are in a multiple choice format and can be re taken for further practice in preparation for the test.

-Arithmetic (different forms of numbers, signs and symbols, how to perform various operations, how to solve problems with Fractions, Percents and Decimals, and much more)
-Algebra (linear Equations and Inequalities, how to solve various word problems, how to simplify and factor numbers, and much more)
-Geometry (Geometric Concepts and Relationships, understanding measurements of congruence and similarity, the Pythagorean Theorem, and much more)
