Course Description
How would you like to be your own private investigator? Are you interested in tracking down someone who owes you money, or getting information from credit bureaus or locating lost children or friends, or finding out whether a spouse or lover is being faithful or do you want to learn more about one of the fastest growing careers?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions then this is the perfect course for you!
Through this Private Investigator class you will be given the tools to perform searches over the internet, the skills to assess public records online and the methods for performing background investigations. The class will include real life examples from actual private investigators. So if sleuthing is something that intrigues you, join this self-paced online course.
The class is self-paced and you work on it whenever it fits your schedule. You don't need any special software or hardware. Why not join today and learn new skills?
Course Requirements
Anyone who's interested in learning about private investigation is welcome to enroll in this class. This course will not require you to have previous experience in any particular area but you should have a high school reading level. No books will be required. However online searches will require you to take notes so you will need some kind of notebook, (a spiral notebook that you can easily flip through is always a PI look)
Course Goals
In this course you will learn:
-Statistics and information about the Private Investigator Career -The tools needed to be a successful PI -How to perform searches on various internet search engines -How to perform online searches of public records -How to perform background checks
Course Materials
All course material will be provided in the lessons and netlinks. There are no required materials to purchase before taking the class.
Grading Policy
Each lesson will include do it yourself practice assignments that will require online searches. A brief 25 pt. quiz will follow each lesson.
Students will successfully complete this course with 70% or better.
