Course Description

Rice puddingHave you ever wanted to be able to make those delicious desserts you have eaten at a restaurant, but do not know where to begin to even create the dessert? You will!
 

This course is designed for people that love eating desserts and want to learn how to cook them. Simple to complex recipes are covered for the following: Brownies and Fudge; Cakes and Cheesecakes; Cobblers and Crisps; Cookies; Fruits; Ice Cream, Parfait, and Tarts Pies; Custards, Fondue, Mousse, and Puddings; and Frosting, Icing, and Toppings.

 

Each lesson in this course is designed to provide you with the basics and intermediate tools and necessary procedures for making delicious desserts of your own. The background information, the lessons, files, links, assignments, and quizzes are set up to provide the basics for stocking your kitchen with the right utensils, equipment, ingredients, recipes, tips, and short cuts to save time in making your desserts. Most of the recipes are from my grandmother's bakery with American, French, Germany, and other International Culinary Dessert recipes included.
