Course Description

Spring is here, and we are getting ready to start our little plant factories. This is the perfect time to start this course! You will find that Gardening is a great hobby. Exercise, accomplishment that you can grow your own food, more nutrients in the food you eat, learning about the environment, and so much more! Now magnify that by the fact that children love these things and love digging in the dirt too! Children also 'work' through their play, and their learning comes from having fun. Gardens are a wonderful place to teach our children. In this course, you will teach your child about the environment, soil composition, choosing the plants they will use, plant care, planting instructions and even when to harvest. Incorporated into these lessons are all curriculum standard requirements in the various subjects, with special grammar lessons included. Come learn while you have fun with the activities both off and online. Make a difference in your world while planting your garden with your child. Come plant your garden with us!
